Our luxurious, brand new log cabin on Oak Lake is located in a secluded cove near the water's edge. This spacious 900 sq. ft. two bedroom log cabin comfortably sleeps eight guests. Fully outfitted including a Weber propane grill our cabin sets a standard that is the envy of remote fishermen. Those who said you have to rough it, have not seen our accommodations. The cabin comes complete with cooking and eating utensils.
Located 33 miles by water from our Maynard Lake Lodge, guest have full radio contact in the event of an emergency or if extra services are required.
Our outpost camps are solitary cabins on our fly-in fishing lakes. As your outfitter, we provide the float plane travel into the lake, plus the cabin, the boats and motors, all the gas you need, and basic boating and fishing gear like nets and paddles.

OWNERS DESCRIPTION: We are located on beautiful Delaney Lake, a deep, clear water lake (over 200 ft. in many places) situated 41 air miles northeast of Kenora, Ontario. Delaney Lake is a fly-in lake sporting Lake Trout, trophy size Smallmouth Bass, Muskie and is home to the largest Northern caught in Ontario. The famous English River, known for its incredible Walleye fishing is accessible by a short portage (a 4-5 minute walk or transportation available for those needing a ride), with a dock housing our boats and motors on the river side. Here your guide meets you each morning for a day of fishing with a delicious shorelunch prepared from your catch at noon. We have access to over 80 plus miles of lakes and current of the English River, so a guide is a must on these waters and is included in each package. Other small area lakes offer more rugged fishing opportunities.
For your comfort and convenience, we offer only the American Plan. We do all the work, you do the fishing, relaxing and enjoying. Oak Lake is a magnificent 25 mile long lake on the renouned English River System. The inflow into the lake is two large waterfalls and the outflow is a navigable river linking Oak Lake to Maynard Lake. This prolific lake, abundant with walleye, northern pike, smallmouth bass and Muskie can be fished using a variety of techniques. There are both lake and river fishing, sunken islands, sand flats and miles of cabbage weed edges, all waiting to be discovered.
